CRYOLIPOLISIS - PERMANENT FAT REDUCTION
What is Cryolipolisis?
Cryolipolisis is a quicker, safer option than having liposuction. Treatment consists of applying cold to fatty tissues in a controlled way for a specific amount of time. Fat cell destruction occurs as a result of solidification and crystalisation of the lipids in the fat cells, elimination of fat cells then occurs naturally over the following weeks. Cryolipolisis only works on the targeted unwanted fat cells and does not cause damage to surrounding, healthy skin tissue. Case studies show an average reduction of fatty tissue between 3mm and 15mm or up to 45% of the fatty tissue for a visibly trimmer, contoured appearance.
What does the treatment involve?
During your Fat Cavitation treatment your therapist will apply a cold handpiece over the selected fat deposit for 45-60min. During the initial phase of your treatment a strong vacuum suction can be felt, discomfort may be felt for the first 5-10minutes until the area begins to freeze.
How many treatments will I need?
Typically, 2-3 treatments are required per treatment area. This may vary from patient to patient depending on the amount of fat to be treated. A minimum of 6 weeks must pass between sessions. Results can be seen in as little as 4 weeks but as long as 4 months depending on how your body responds to treatment.
How long will the results last?
Results are permanent.
