Is there parking available?
Yes. We have free parking available right out the front of both clinics. Our clinics are also wheelchair accessible.

May I request a therapist?
Yes, our online booking system allows you to request a therapist. However, all of our therapists have the same training and are equally fantastic!
How can I pay for my services?
We offer EFTPOS, cash, Zippay or Afterpay payments. Sorry, we do not accept American Express.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We offer Zippay and Afterpay in clinic for all products and services.
Can I have Cosmetic Injectables if I am under 18 years of age?
Unfortunately you must be 18 years or older to have Cosmetic Injectables.
Can I have injectables while pregnant or breast feeding?
No. We do not recommend having any cosmetic injectable treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding.
What treatments can I have while pregnant and breastfeeding?
We have many facial and beauty treatments available for our pregnant and breastfeeding clients. Our skincare and makeup ranges are also completely safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding however we do not recommend using any form of Vitamin A or retinol during this time.
How often should I get a facial?
Your skin takes approximately 30 days to complete a cell cycle. You should aim to have a facial once per cell cycle to encourage cell turnover and decongest. Using our cosmeceutical skincare will ensure the health of your skin between visits.
Can I have IPL if I have spray tan on?
No. You will need to ensure the treatment area is free from ALL spray tan residue prior to attending your appointment. Failure to do so will mean an appointment reschedule and cancellation fees may apply. Please note we cannot treat you if you have had any recent unprotected sun exposure on the treatment area within the past 2 weeks. To ensure the success of any IPL hair removal we also recommend no waxing or depilatory creams for 4 weeks prior to treatment.
Will I have shedding from a peel?
At Skin Forum we offer multiple AHA, BHA and Enzyme peels. The mechanic of action of some of these peels is to accelerate the cell turnover and slough away dead or damaged skin. Your technician will ensure you have all information regarding your peel downtime and aftercare at your consultation or treatment date.
What downtime will I need after a treatment?
Downtime for treatments vary quite a lot depending on the treatment performed. For injectables and PRP it is not uncommon to have bruising and/or swelling for up to 14 days post procedure. Some chemical peels may cause the skin to flake or shed and Dermapen Skin Needling will cause intense erythema (redness) in the skin for 12-24hours. Please speak to your therapist regarding downtime for your treatment.
Can I bring my children to my appointment?
We do not encourage children to attend the clinic, however if you find yourself unable to get a babysitter then we will accommodate as best we can, we will not be responsible for your child, please bring an Ipad so your child is entertained and please ensure they are well behaved at all times. Children are unfortunately unable to attend if IPL or LED machinery is to be used.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive 15minutes prior to your treatment start time to ensure all paperwork is completed and you can go through to your appointment promptly at the allocated time slot.
What if I am late?
All treatments are to begin on time. To ensure that you receive your full treatment please arrive 15mins prior to your scheduled appointment to ensure all appropriate paperwork is completed. Unfortunately, if you arrive late to your appointment this may cut into your treatment time. Appointments are often booked back to back, so please be on time out of respect for other clients and your therapist. If you miss your appointment a $50 cancellation fee may be charged.
I need to cancel or change my appointment, will I be charged?
We require a minimum of 24hours notice for all appointment cancellations or changes. We will send appointment reminders through text message 3 days in advance of your appointment date and try our absolute best to confirm your appointment times well in advance to help you avoid any cancellation fees. Failure to give us more than 24hours notice for an appointment change will result in a $50 cancellation fee being charged
What treatment/products do I need?
Each client is assessed individually for all treatments offered at Skin Forum. We encourage all new clients to book a complimentary consultation so that we can customise a treatment plan for you.
What if I have a medical condition?
Please advise us of any health conditions or medications you may be taking as your treatment may not be able to be performed. Please inform your physician if you are pregnant as some of our treatments and products may not be safe.
